Welcome to wowser.Wowser is a small utility app that turns your device into a kiosk browser: it removes the menu bar and shows only the URL that you selected in the settings.
From there a user can browse normally.
Using the in-app purchase you can also limit the browser to block all links that lead outside the homepage.
For example if your page is http://www.mypage.com, links behind the root are allowed (e.g.
http://www.mypage.com/help.jtml) but links outside the root won’t be followed (e.g.
http://www.anotherpage.com).
Go to the settings by touching the screen for 10 seconds in the top left corner.
Then enter the password (0000) by default.
In the settings you can set an automatic restart for the device and if you want to show the menu bar or not.
These settings may not work on every device.
Your device may have to be rooted to remove the menu bar.
You can also change the password and set the app to auto-start after reboot of the device.
Content settings include the URL to show and the auto refresh time.
If a touch occurs during the auto refresh time, it will be restarting the timer.
This way the page will not be refreshed while somebody touches the screen content.For support write to [email protected].
